I had an amazing stay at this lovely guesthouse nestled in a tranquil location. From the moment I arrived, the hosts, Mary and Frank, made me feel like a long-lost friend. Their warm hospitality and genuine friendliness were truly outstanding. The beautifully furnished rooms and the delicious help-yourself breakfast were the icing on the cake. I highly recommend staying at this hidden gem and would definitely return without hesitation.

Beds were lovely, everything was excellent. It was located in a lovely area not far from the local wildlife, restaurants and Nepin mountain, Free parking was available, the staff was very friendly.

We had a very nice stay in Ballina, right by restaurants and the pub. The host treated us very well. We had a beautiful and cozy room with a great view. It was close to Nephin Mountain.

Mountain Views: The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of majestic mountains was like stepping into a postcard. It was so stunning that I almost forgot to blink!

Limited Heating: Unfortunately, the heating in the room was a bit inadequate.

The double room at The Woodlands was absolutely cozy and charming. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The electric kettle was a lovely touch, allowing me to enjoy a hot cup of tea while admiring the breathtaking mountain view. Plus, having a tea/coffee maker made my mornings even more delightful! As a backpacker, these small comforts meant the world to me.
